Youth volunteering


The Saltire Awards is a national programme designed to recognise the achievements of young people aged between 12-25 years who take part in volunteering.  The Awards are supported and endorsed by the Scottish Government.  There are 4 sections to the award which allow a varied range of time commitment and effort; The Challenge is a one off team event, The Approach can be gained at 10 and 25 hours of volunteering, The Ascent is presented at 50, 100 and 200 hours  and The Summit Award is for an outstanding contribution to volunteering.
