The relentless pace of development of allaboutorkney.com may have seemed to have slackened, but that is not the case.
In the next few days there will be a new registered feature (i.e. you have to register to make full use of it) coming, which has required the registration process to be installed and tested. Which has now happened, see below left. No imperative to register yet, though no harm either, as NO WAY will your details be passed to third parties.
Other things coming up in the short to medium term (i.e. before the end of the week) are the Orkney nature blogs, featured on their own page. A lot of really nice blogs covering this, so I hope you enjoy that, once it arrives.

I'm glad to see the YouTube player proving popular, and suggestiions for other videos to feature are welcomed. Have a look at the Flickr slideshow below it as well. It can be set fullscreen once it is playing, and there are some stunning pictures on there.
