I've long been a fab of BLDG BLOG ever since I stumbled across an article there about one of the biggest holes in the world (and if you can think of a bigger hole be sure and rate it appropriately on Qype). Helicopters can't fly over it as they get turned upside down by air currents!
Anyway I digress, as the treat served up by BLDG BLOG today is the world's largest indoor tornado, in the Mercedes Benz museum. The article explains how the tornado is formed by 144 jets and 28 tonnes of air under the influence of the buildings internal ventilation system, and shows it in action
in a YouTube video. Well worth a look.
